Counter-Strike 1.6 extremely slow

Counter-Strike 1.6 is extremely slow for me, say, one frame per ten seconds.

I am running Wine on Arch Linux 64 bits, I created my Wine prefix using

When I'm "playing," both hl.exe and wineserver use 100% CPU.
