I tried the free demo, http://www.rootsmagic.com/Try/RootsMagic/default.aspx Starts fine, no winetricks needed. As dimesio pointed out, you forgot to actually run wine, and you tried to use a space without quotes in a commandline argument. Her suggested commandline will probably do the trick.
