Instructions for patching and compiling are here: http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-719d19ccbd20c36445e065d0f46f80c2a301ce52 Since this patch may break a lot of other things, don't install the Wine you build with it--just run it from the build directory. That way you can still use your distro's Wine packages for everything else.
