3Ds Max Design 2012 (.Net Framework needed)

right now im trying to port 3Ds Max Design 2012 to Mac OSX10.7 using winebottler
i created an .app for the installer and ran it, it works until the installer performs a hardware check and it prompts to install .Net framework 4.0, i click the update button and it starts to install using X11 again but when the loading finishes i get the classic Setup.exe has encountered a problem
did the framework install correctly and if i reboot 3Ds will work?
or am i stuck with an incompatible application?
