Wine usually cannot be used for this purpose for two reasons: 1. Wine runs as a userspace program and does not allow for the running of special Windows driver software. 2. These programs usually require direct access to the hardware. See #1 above for why this does not work. If you really need to flash the phone, you will need to use Windows in some form to do it or a MacOSX native program. James
