In trying to run a specific windows application, several errors have been encountered, and I do not understand the messages. First, the application is not aware of an existing internet connection. Does wine work with an existing connection? Are entries required in the pseudo-registry? If so, what is required? Second, the application is not aware of the system date. Same questions as above. Third, the application wants to present several pictures, included via OLE. Either I need some form of helper application, or, again, the registry is not configured. I was not able to import a working registry. Attached is output produced when I attempt to run this application. BTW, the application is a virtual rosary. However, I have seen this behavior on another application some years ago. At the time, I thought it might be due to the "newness" of wine. Now, I believe it is more likely a configuration issue.
