Hi everybody, I'm trying to run Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.1 with wine on a RedHat 7.1 system with 256 MB of physical memory and 128 MB of swap. I've tried wine-20021031, wine-20021125, wine-20021219 compiled from source with "gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81)" and "gcc version 3.2.1" (compiled from source) and installed as a non-root user. Each wine installation runs wine notepad fine, each wine installation runs the Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.1 installer wine ./AcroReader51_ENU.exe just fine. However wine C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe results in lots of warning messages warn:dosfs:DOSFS_FindUnixName () can't open dir: Cannot allocate memory and finally aborts with warn:dosfs:DOSFS_FindUnixName (/home/werthenbach/i386-redhat-linux-gnu/local/wine-20021219/drives/C,L"WINDOWS\\SYSTEM\\OLEAUT32.dll"): can't open dir: Cannot allocate memory err:module:PE_fixup_imports Module (file) OLEAUT32.dll (which is needed by C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe) not found The latter kind of run aborts rather quickly and the machine is not trashing and not using its swap in any way, which would also be rather audible. Attached you will find the auto-generated debug report. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Kassandra __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
