I am not sure if this will help and it is not a "real" fix but a workaround for another similar bug. In your ~/.wine/config file try adding the following and report results.

[Drive Z]
"Path" = "/usr/local/bin"
"Type" = "hd"
"Filesystem" = "win95"


If it fixes your problem. Then please add your experience to the following bug report.
