I just build Wine-20020605 from source using gcc-3.1.1 (20020701 snapshot), binutils-1.12.1, glibc-2.2.5 on Slackware 8.0 w/ 2.4.18 kernel, XFree86 4.0.3 and Mesa 4.0.3 installed. I used "tools/wineinstall" to do the build and install and when I try to verify the installed wine version, I get the error below: tom@linux:~$ wine --version wine: relocation error: /usr/local/lib/libntdll.dll.so: undefined symbol: __wine _dbg_vprintf tom@linux:~$ dir -l /usr/local/lib/libntdll.dll.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Jul 4 07:46 /usr/local/lib/libntdll. dll.so -> wine/ntdll.dll.so tom@linux:~$ dir -l /usr/local/lib/wine/ntdll.dll.so -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7633323 Jul 4 07:46 /usr/local/lib/wine/ntdll.dll.so I'm went through the "Total Clean" process to rebuild Wine and that did NOT seem to help. Is gcc-3.1 ok to use to build wine? Any ideas as to what the problem could be? I'm going to try the 20020710 snapshot now to see what happens. Thanks in advance! Peace...
