If you have set up your config file properly then  things _should_ work.  
in your config file you should have something like the following (a line 
starting with ; is a comment)

[Version]
; Windows version to imitate 
(win95,win98,winme,nt351,nt40,win2k,winxp,win20,win30,win31)
"Windows" = "win98"

If setting this does not work then submitting a bug report in bugsilla 
is the next thing for you to do. If there is a demo that can help a lot.
