Thanks Everybody It seems? I made the mistake of installing Wine via redcarpet while I was root. Later I tried to uninstall and then reinstall wine via my user profile. Redcarpet asked me to use my root password so I did, and then the inst. went ok. Try commands: which wine locate wine If not found, check with the package manager if the wine package is installed. I think you can get also list of files, installed from the package.
