O.K.... from "Setup failed to launch installation engine" there appears to be several things to check: (1) Make sure you have a recent version of wine... (codeweavers-wine-20010626-4) (2) copy stdole32.tlb from a real win9x install into you c:\windows\system... (I have a win98 disk, but can only find a file called stdole2.tl_, is that what needs to be copied to ~/.wine/fake_windows/Windows/System/ ?), and (3) what is apply winedefault.reg via reapi?
