Calling all volcano scientists!

If you're going to be at AGU next week, we invite you to attend our
workshop on VICTOR, a new, modern cyber-infrastructure for modeling and
computation. It will be held in the *Marriott Marquis* room â??*Gallaudet
University*â?? on *Friday, 12/13 *from *12:30-13:30*. Participants will have
some hands-on time with the platform, followed by a discussion about the
needs of the community and future VICTOR features. If you are interested,
please fill out the registration form

before
you attend the workshop so we can give you access to VICTOR resources.

VICTOR (*V*olcanology *I*nfrastructure for *C*omputational *To*ols and
*R*esources)
is a centralized, cloud-based computational platform aimed at helping
volcanologists find, use, and integrate numerical models and other
computational tools. The central piece of VICTOR is a JupyterHub that users
connect to through a web browser. It currently holds over two dozen tools
and models from a variety of disciplines within volcanology.

Best,
The VICTOR team
