Through experiments, numerical modelling, and remote sensing, the project seeks to improve landslide prediction and hazard assessments, contributing to early warning systems and adaptation strategies for vulnerable mountainous communities. We welcome candidates with a quantitative background in Geophysics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Earth Science, Hydrology, or Hydrogeology. Programming skills are advantageous, but a strong motivation to learn GIS and experimental methods is essential.
