The conference will take place 9-14 February 2025 at the Grand Naniloa Hotel in Hilo, Hawaii, USA. Our aim at this conference is to contrast observations from historical eruptions â?? including at Miyakejima, Piton de la Fournaise, Bárðarbunga, and KÄ«lauea â?? establish our current understanding, identify outstanding questions, and motivate lasting new research efforts. The conference will include a field trip to KÄ«lauea's summit, workshops, discussion groups, early career activities, and more.
