The Smithsonian Institutionâ??s Global Volcanism Program is hosting its first ever Global Volcanism Program K-12 Volcano Art Gallery! We are calling for students grades K-12 to create original artwork with the theme â??Volcanoes Around the Worldâ?? and submit it for the chance to be included in a special GVP Photo Gallery Page on our website. We will accept submissions starting on September 1 and ending on October 31, 2024. A select number of submissions from the categories of K-2, grades 3-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12 will be displayed in a special gallery on our website starting in December.
