Dear colleagues,

We are excited to recruit a post-doc to track magmatic processes leading to
porphyry copper mineralisation through high-resolution petrology and
geochemistry. The post-doc will join the recently awarded ARC Future
Fellowship research program on â??Volcanic arcs as factories of critical
metals for the energy transitionâ?? at The University of Queensland, in
Brisbane (Australia). We aim to establish mineralisation vectors with
state-of-the-art microanalysis of rock-forming minerals and inclusions:

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will join a vibrant research team with
access to superb analytical facilities, excited to better understand arc
magmatism and its links to explosive eruptions and copper mineralisation.

Interested candidates can email me (t.ubide@xxxxxxxxx) or contact me at
Goldschmidt 2024 in Chicago for further information.

*Applications close Sunday, 25 August 2024 (Brisbane time).*

Interviews planned early September 2024.
