Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the local organizing committee for the next International
Conference on "Machine Intelligence for GeoAnalytics and Remote Sensing"
(MIGARS), we would like to invite you to submit abstracts on broad range of
topics including geostatistics, machine learning and remote sensing methods
applied to volcanoes and geothermal systems.

MIGARS aims to host a few dedicated geoscience and volcano sessions. These
session are broadly, but not limited to spatio-temporal monitoring (e.g.,
seismic, remote sensing, deformation, infrasound, geomorphology, eruption
plume detection), forecasting activity via machine learning and
geostatistics (e.g., uncertainty analysis, eruption forecasting,
deterministic and probabilistic methods, volcanic hazard assessment) and
numerical modelling (e.g., mass flows, ash dispersion, lava flows
simulations) and their applications to understand volcanic processes of
volcanoes.

MIGARS will be held in Shed6 in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand from 8-10
April 2024. MIGARS is a technically co-sponsored conference by
IEEE-Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) and IEEE-Computational
Intelligence Society (CIS).

Paper submissions are now open until 15 October 2024. The topics and
important dates can be found on our website:
