The Volcanology Department of the Geophysics Institute at Mexicoâ??s National University (UNAM) in Mexico City is currently seeking a researcher in Volcanology. Position Overview: The successful candidate will hold a doctorate in Geosciences or related fields, coupled with a minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience. Of paramount importance is a demonstrated record of significant scientific contributions, both in terms of quality and breadth, within the following areas: Dynamics of volcanic systems Modeling and analysis of data Societal and environmental implications of volcanic activity and, Hazard assessment and risk management Key Responsibilities: In addition to your research prowess, we seek individuals who are passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration. You will engage with specialists from various disciplines related to volcanology, fostering a rich and diverse academic environment.
