This session focuses on the long-lived Cordilleran arc systems which evolve in time, space, and with depth. The arc system produces a complex history of subduction, magma genesis, emplacement, eruption, and host-rock deformation. We invite contributions from a broad range of fields studying arc dynamics, physical and chemical magmatic processes, rates, and magmatic-tectonic interactions across Cordilleran arc crustal sections.
