Applicants who explore mineral and metal extraction from secondary sources and apply traditional and novel methods (e.g., remote sensing) in search of critical minerals are encouraged to apply. We expect candidates to show evidence of an existing or developing active, externally funded, student-centered research program, and the ability and enthusiasm to teach introductory-level courses and upper-division/graduate courses in Economic Geology, and Earth Materials or Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, emphasizing field and laboratory skills.
