1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 From: Duncan Agnew <dagnew@xxxxxxxx> Special GJI Issue on the January 2022 Eruption of Hunga Volcano In response to requests from the community, the deadline for papers to be submitted to the ``Hunga volcano special issue'' of Geophysical Journal International has been moved back. **THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS NOW OCTOBER 1, 2022.** Papers submitted earlier will be published online as they are approved, and all approved papers will appear in a special volume, for which the target publication date is now April 15, 2023. As before, we encourage submissions that discuss any aspect of the waves produced by the eruption in the solid Earth, the ocean, the atmosphere, the ionosphere, and the electromagnetic field. We encourage submissions that address observing and analyzing any aspect of these waves, or describing and making available relevant datasets. We also welcome papers using the radiated energy, along with other data, for characterizing the eruptive source, or modeling other aspects of the eruption.
