We are very pleased to invite you to the first webinar series organized by the IAVCEI Commission for Monogenetic Volcanoes (CMV). In memory of an outstanding volcanologist, the Jim Luhr Award was created by the commission and has been given at each International Maar Conference (IMC) since 2009 to celebrate â??lifetime achievements on research on monogenetic volcanismâ??. In order to revive the commission, we decided to invite successively all the recipients of this prestigious award to give a webinar of a duration of ca. 45 minutes, followed by questions.
