The Community Network for Volcanic Eruption Response (CONVERSE) an NSF-funded Research Coordination Network is coordinating the response to the eruption with the intent to maximize the scientific data we obtain from the event. Within CONVERSE we coordinate academic researchers with USGS and HVO. You can find more info about CONVERSE on volcanoresponse.org. We welcome broad participation and if you like to be involved please check above website to select the disciplinary leader that most closely matches your interests. Then send one email addressed to Samantha Wolf ( sammiewolf@xxxxxxx) and the disciplinary leader, please cc Kari Cooper ( kmcooper@xxxxxxxxxxx) and me (fischer@xxxxxxx).
