*Nominate a Deserving Colleague for a **2021 MGPV Award** - upcoming
deadline!*

The Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Petrology and Volcanology Division of GSA
presents two awards annually at the national GSA meeting: the Distinguished
Geologic Career Award and the Early Career Award.  A special criterion for
these awards is outstanding research including geologic field study in
addition to other methods of investigation in one or more of the MGPV
disciplines.

Nominations are open now through *March 31, 2020.*  A list of past awardees
and links to nomination criteria and instructions can be found on the MGPV

Nominations require one nomination letter, three letters of support, and
the nomineeâ??s CV.
If you know deserving early or advanced career geoscientist, the MGPV
