Dear volcanology community,



A new 3-year postdoc in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics for laboratory and
numerical modelling is now available within the Mechanical and Geological
Model Analogues (MAGMA) Laboratory in the Department of Earth, Ocean and
Ecological Sciences at the University of Liverpool, UK. The position is
funded by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Future Leaders Fellowship
award â??Modelling Magma Movement: linking indirect observations with dynamic
processesâ?? led by Dr Janine Kavanagh.



The successful applicant should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in
engineering, physics, mathematics, geophysics or a related discipline. The
position is open with immediate effect and is anticipated to commence no
later than 1st January, 2021. The deadline for applications is 25th March.
