We already accepted 6 original articles covering various aspects of halogens : - The distribution and abundance of halogens in eclogites: an in-situ SIMS perspective of the Raspas Complex (Ecuador), by Urann et al. - Halogens in amphibole and mica from mantle xenoliths: Implications for the halogen distribution and halogen budget of the metasomatized continental lithosphere, by Hecker et al. - Heavy halogen geochemistry of martian shergottite meteorites and implications for the halogen composition of the depleted shergottite mantle source, by Clay et al. - Archean to Paleoproterozoic seawater halogen ratios recorded by fluid inclusions in chert and hydrothermal quartz, by Burgess et al. - New insights on Br speciation in volcanic glasses and structural controls on halogens degassing, by Louvel et al. - In-situ measurements of magmatic volatile elements, F, S and Cl by electron microprobe, secondary ion mass spectrometry, and elastic recoil detection analysis, by Rose-Koga et al. We invite new original contributions to enrich this Special Collection. We welcome any article project representing a step forward for our knowledge and understanding of halogens abundance, distribution, and behaviour in terrestrial and extra-terrestrial systems.
