A variety of natural and anthropogenic phenomena (e. g. volcanoes, mine
blasts, etc.) create low-frequency sound, or â??infrasoundâ??.  The Geophysical
Monitoring Department at Sandia National Laboratories is seeking to hire an
infrasound scientist to study the sources and propagation of these
low-frequency sounds.  Individuals with expertise in seismology,
atmospheric science, and/or acoustics are desired.  The post will expire on
