Input for National Disasters Preparedness Month at NSF

The National Science Foundation is celebrating NSFâ??s 70th Anniversary by
highlighting significant research areas each month building up to the
anniversary celebration next May.



We are working with NSFâ??s Office of Legislative and Public Affairs to
identify content and leads to promote the important work NSF supports
regarding natural disaster research: to understand, prevent, prepare for,
mitigate and respond to hazards.



We ask for content ideas that you have that can support NSFâ??s public
affairs efforts. Your creative input would be greatly appreciated to ensure
that Earth science research is highlighted extensively. Here is the list of
products we are developing, with links to examples of final products. We
will turn your images, videos, artifacts, etc., into the following products:
