We would like to draw your attention to AGU session ED037 - Leading
Effective Geo Field Trips: Lessons Learned and Activities to Share.

As volcanologists, many of us visit the field frequently - We would love to
hear your stories!

Session Description: Taking students into the field poses a variety of
unique opportunities as well as challenges. This session is interested in
materials, methodologies, locations, stories, solutions, and/or other
unique approaches to field-based education. Presenters will share their
most effective, most fun, and most interesting experiences of taking
students into the field, along with solutions for the logistical,
content-oriented, and other pitfalls that sometimes occur along the way.
