(11) Volcanic Activity Summary:A moderate gas-steam activity of the volcano continues. Satellite data by KVERT showed the volcano was quiet or obscured by clouds in March-August, 2016. Last moderate ash explosions was observed in February, 2016; a thermal anomaly over the volcano was noted last time in May, 2016. KVERT continues to monitor Karymsky volcano.

A moderate gas-steam activity of the volcano continues. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
