During a brief visit to Nicaragua last week it was possible to
observe two eruptions of Momotombo volcano on 21.02.2016, one still at
night and one in the morning. The nighttime eruption was documented with
high framerate timelapse animation and several small static discharges
can be seen during the early phase of the eruption.
