Dear Colleagues,
Dear Madam/Sir,
Greetings from EMSEV-2016 International Workshop!
Dear Madam/Sir,Greetings from EMSEV-2016 International Workshop!
The EMSEV-2016 International Workshop on Electromagnetic Studies of Earthquakes and Volcanoes (EMSEV 2016) will be held in Lanzhou, China, during August 25 to 29, 2016.
Lanzhou City stands along both sides of the age-old Yellow River and lies on the “Ancient Silk Road”.
The pre-workshop managed by Chinese Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite (CSES) will be held in Beijing during 23-25 August, 2016.
The workshop will focus on the observation and understanding of the various kinds of electromagnetic phenomena associated with earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, from lithosphere to space.
It is a great opportunity for scholars to present their scientific research, observation technology and data application achievements in the electromagnetic field related to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, etc.
Moreover, it will also be a valuable and important platform for international and interdisciplinary exchanges and co-operation among scholars. For more details, please visit:

- Recognition of precursors to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions from lithosphere to space
- Natural and induced seismicity
- Mechanism, laboratory, and modeling studies of active faults and volcanoes
- Precursors of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and other natural hazards: reliability
- EMSEV related international projects
and submit your abstract(s) for presentation through website: http://www.emsev2016.com/.
We look forward to seeing you in Lanzhou and Beijing during August 23 to 29, 2016.
