Call for payloads released for the High Altitude Student Platform (HASP) 2016 flight
*****************************************************************************************************
Dear colleagues,
The RFP for the HASP 2016 flight was released today. HASP provides a space for student designed payloads on a high altitude balloon that reaches elevations of up to 37 km for 6-30 hours. This capability may be of interest to student teams studying volcanogenic stratospheric aerosols or infrasound, for example.
The RFP is here: http://laspace.lsu.edu/hasp/Participantinfo.php
I have flown infrasound microphones on HASP for the last 2 years. If you have any questions about the process, feel free to contact me.
Best,
