Dear colleagues,

A reminder that the abstract deadline and early bird registration deadline are approaching (1st July) for the 11th EURO Conference on Rock Physics and Geomechanics.

Registration includes your conference fee, all accommodation, a mid-conference field trip, as well as the icebreaker, conference dinner, and a barbecue on the final night. More information can be found on the event website here: http://www.bgs.ac.uk/news/events/euro2015/home.html

Student early bird registrations are £495, with academic/industry early bird registrations are £592 (an additional supplement can be applied to both for en-suite accommodation).

The conference is to be held at the University of Cumbria campus at Ambleside in the Lake District, UK, between the 6-11th September (no conference activity is scheduled on the 11th but accommodation is provided on the evening of the 10th).

As well as keynote talks by Brian Evans, Ian Jackson, Ernie Rutter, Chris Spiers, and Paul Young we hope for a vibrant programme of research in progress, including talks and two extended poster sessions. With no concurrent sessions we intend to enable a week of focused discussion on the topics of rock physics and geomechanics.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ambleside in September.
