Dear members of the volcanological community,


Hi! We would like to invite submissions to a special volume of American Mineralogist, entitled "Geology and Geo-Biology of Lassen Volcanic National Park," which is now listed at http://ammin.geoscienceworld.org/site/misc/specialissuelist.xhtml along with a submission link. Michael Clynne (mclynne@xxxxxxxx)​ and I (Lindsay McHenry, lmchenry@xxxxxxx) are Associate Editors for this collection; please let one or both of us know if you are planning to submit something or if you have any questionsOur target date for submissions is October 5th, 2015, though we welcome submission both ahead of and after this target date. Please feel free to pass this announcement along to anyone else you think might be interested.


Here is the current blurb: 

This special collection aims to showcase a broad range of research on the geology of the region surrounding Lassen volcano in the southern Cascades, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 1916 founding of Lassen Volcanic National Park. Submissions from a wide range of fields including volcanology, petrology, geochemistry, mineralogy, geochronology, geophysics, geobiology, and other related fields are encouraged. The special collection Associate Editors are Lindsay McHenry and Michael Clynne. Submissions are in process now -- contact the editors if you would like to contribute. Submit your paper via the web-based system at http://minsocam.allentrack.net
