Hello,
I'd like to invite all the women volcanologists to join the Earth Science Women's Network (http://www.sage.wisc.edu/eswn/). It's an association of female earth scientists across all disciplines and careers within the earth sciences that provides a space for connecting with other female scientists and discussing topics relevant to women in the earth sciences, primarily via an email listserv. As the network began in the atmospheric sciences, there's currently a lack of members in the geological sciences and geophysics, so it would be wonderful to have a few more volcanologists contributing.
To join, go to this webpage (http://mailman.acd.ucar.edu/mailman/listinfo/eswn), and fill out the necessary information (nothing beyond name, email, and email delivery preference). Many people also send out a short introduction to the listserv when they join, although this is not a requirement for joining.
