University Lecturership in Mineralogy/Petrology, University of Oxford
The Department of Earth Sciences, Oxford, plans to appoint
a University Lecturer in Mineralogy/Petrology. This post is
associated with a Tutorial Fellowship at University College.
The expected start date is not later than 1 October 2013. We are
looking for candidates with an excellent research profile, and are
searching broadly in areas of mineralogy, petrology and earth
materials that complement expertise in the department.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out
research, at the international level, that will contribute to the
department’s research reputation, to secure research funding, to
teach, supervise and examine undergraduate and postgraduate
students, and to participate in and contribute to the
administration of the department.
