Announcement of workshop on submarine to emergent volcanism

Volcanophiles,
Carles Soriano (CSIC, Barcelona, Spain), Guido Giordano (UniRoma3, Italy), and Nancy Riggs (NAU, USA) are pleased to announce "Submarine and emergent volcanic arcs and associated volcano-sedimentary basins: facies models, petrology and volcano-tectonics", a workshop to be held in the Cabo de Gata region of southeast Spain from 2-7 May 2011. Exposures of marine-dome facies are spectacular; the workshop will focus on architecture and processes of active and ancient submarine to emergent volcanic arcs and associated volcano-sedimentary basins.
