Greetings,
We are hosting a summer school on Computer Modelling and Geophysical Risk
Analysis (sponsored by PIMS and NSF) at the University of British Columbia,
Vancouver between 6-10 August 2010. The summer school is organized to follow
the 2010 Joint Statistical Meeting to be held in Vancouver 31 July-5 August.

We would like to encourage stats/math/geoscience grad students and postdocs
to consider attending this event. We have funding to support local expenses
for students in the area as well as local expenses and airfare for students
from further afield.
