Dear volcanophiles
Stromboli online (http://stromboli.net) is now offering a set of stunning videoclips of Eyjafjallajoekull in eruption. The clips were taken during helicopter flights on April 17th and 19th. They complement the still photo coverage announced earlier on VOLCANO. Most remarkable, in the video footage, are shock waves emanating from the volcano's vent and passing, at the speed of sound, through the steam/ash clouds.
