Applications are invited for a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship in remote sensing of active volcanoes at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The successful applicant will work on topics related to the application of thermal infrared satellite data to the study of active terrestrial volcanism. A Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline (broadly, the geosciences) is required, as is previous experience in the analysis of remote sensing data sets and computer programming. The fellowship will be for an initial period of one year with renewal for up to one additional year based on performance and availability of support.

This fellowship carries a stipend equivalent to $50,000 per annum.
