The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the monitoring and research efforts at the MVO in the area of seismology. Qualifications are listed at http://sta.uwi.edu/jobs/details.asp?view=&id=570&fontSize=, and include experience in seismology and seismic monitoring, authorship of scientific publications, and contributions that have advanced the field of volcano seismology. Completion of a Ph.D. is desirable, but not required. The post is offered on a three year fixed term, full-time basis with the option of extension.
