Montserrat "Volcano hero (42) dies suddenly

Those who were involved at the time will be saddened to learn that a Royal Navy man who did outstanding work during the early months of the volcanic eruption on Montserrat has died suddenly.  Duane Farmer (42), of Hucknall in England, was serving on the ship HMS Southampton, which helped in the emergency.  When Plymouth was evacuated Mr Farmer helped keep the generators in town running to provide electricity for the whole island.
