The meeting will bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, civil authorities and the humanitarian, development and business sectors. The aim of the meeting is to examine the concept and process of disaster risk reduction, with particular emphasis on multi-hazard environments and multi-disciplinary approaches within natural hazards. A key objective of the conference is to define ways in which disaster risk reduction may become more effective in the future. Registration is now open. Price includes conference fee, lunch on day two and three, refreshments and a wine reception on the evening of day one.
