A new eruption in Tonga was documented on 16 or 17 March by observers flying near the area. The description and coordinates suggest that the eruption is from Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai (http://www.volcano.si.edu/world/volcano.cfm?vnum=0403-04=), which last erupted in 1988.
