Just a reminder for people to go to the meeting website for the 19-22
June Second Volcano-Ice Interactions on Earth and Mars conference to see
information about fieldtrips associated with the conference. Activities
will include:
1. possible overflights of the Mount Garibaldi area before the
conference (arrangements will depend on interest)
2. possible hike to see glaciovolcanic deposits in the Garibaldi Lake
area (arrangements will depend on interest)
3. intraconference fieldtrip through the Whistler corridor to examine
Pleistocene glaciovolcanic deposits (led by M. Kelman, K. Russell, C.
Hickson)
4. post-conference fieldtrip (3 days, 2 nights) to Mt Baker and Mt
Rainier areas to examine intermediate to felsic glaciovolcanic deposits
(led by D. Lescinsky and C. Hickson)
The deadline for signing up for the field trips and conference is 15
