Jarðfeingi are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the 1st Jóannes Rasmussen Conference: Evolution of Basaltic Provinces to be held in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, 29-30 August 2007.
Early bird registration and abstract submittal deadline is the 27th April 2007
Associated with the conference are two field trips examining the lava stratigraphy of the islands.
This conference is endorsed by the VMSG and IAVCEI and has received sponsorship from a number of oil companies operating in the Faroese area, which has meant that registration fees have been kept to a minimum.
