The Instituto Geofisco in Quito, Ecuador, invites you
to visit our web page (www.igepn.edu.ec) to follow in
real time the ongoing seismic activity of Tungurahua
volcano which has stepped up its activity during the
previous week. Real time seismograms and frequency
plots (SSAM) are readily available for inspection.
Strombolian activity and strong ash emissions are
presently accompanying the reactivation of this
volcano. In addition the web page presents
information about many Ecuadorian volcanoes and
studies in progress.
