Dear Volcanologists,

The IUGG Union Commission on Mathematical Geophysics 2006 meeting will be
held on June 4-8, 2006 at Sea of Galilee, Israel.

Two sessions of the meeting are of interest to volcanologists:

1. "Fire in Rocks" organized by Oded Navon and Augusto Neri
(Hydrofracturing and diking, Volcanic eruptions, dome evolution, Conduit
flow, Magma fragmentation, gases in magmas and more).

2. "Mathematical aspects of geohazard research", Convened by Alik
Ismail-Zadeh, which will include volcanic hazard as well as Seismic, floods
and lans slides.

As you may know, the conference brings together scholars from all venues of
geophysics that use mathematical modeling to study Earth related problems.
This year we try to present the mathematical and the modeling facets of
volcanology.

You are invited to participate and present your work at the conference.

You can check the meeting website at
